Streptomycin-resistance mutations in chloroplast 16S ribosomal RNA
Three different regions of the 16S rRNA can be mutated to confer streptomycin resistance on chloroplast ribosomes. The various alleles are listed here in 5' to 3' order, followed by some additional mutants that probably map to this gene but have not been confirmed by sequence analysis.
