Placing Orders

To order strains, please use the on-line order form.
 
For advice on strains prior to placing an order, or to report problems with the form, please contact us. You can also enter questions or comments on the form.
The order form leads to a secure on-line payment site, but you can use the form even if you prefer to pay by check or purchase order.
 
Please do NOT place orders by phone or fax.
 

The order form opens in a new window, to facilitate copy/pasting strain names from the core collection or other lists into the form. A shopping cart ordering system is under construction.

All prices include shipping. Payment can be made on line by credit card or Paypal, or by check or an institutional purchase order (if you'd like us to send you an invoice, please indicate this in the questions / comments box on the form).

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!  After you submit an order using the form, you should receive a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours. If you don't, please contact us.

Rates

Our charges for academic and other non-profit users are as follows:

A single order of no more than 10 cultures (Chlamy strains and/or plasmids):   $100
Please add $10 per strain for additional cultures ordered at the same time.

Introductory special wild type strains of both mating types, or any single strain or plasmid   $50


cDNA libraries    $250 each


Yearly prepaid subscription:            $250
up to 5 separate orders comprising up to 50 cultures total.

Premium support level:                 $500
up to 15 orders comprising up to 150 cultures

Hutner's trace elements:                 15 ml for $20, 50 ml for $50

Kits for teaching and science fair projects and the molecular mapping kit are priced separately.

Commericial rates:
